About the Series

  • As healthcare providers, we all know the value of a good case-conceptualization. A large part of our work is learning how to effectively collect and organize the data we need to guide treatment decisions.

Our conceptualization skills are among the most important, and yet our opportunities to maintain or sharpen this skillset are limited, outside of educational or practice contexts.

The purpose of this series is to bring together healthcare professionals within and across disciplines to focus on refining our case conceptualization skills so that we can offer the highest quality care.

  • Each workshop is designed to equip clinicians with theory driven information on how to effectively obtain data to inform a more robust case conceptualization.

Speakers will discuss important aspects of developmental history and life stressors that contribute to symptom presentation and impact on functioning. Review the types of questions and processes that clinicians can use to inquire, and focus on how to effectively share and collaborate with patients to inform case conceptualization and focus intervention.

  • Non-members: $153.96/session

    Members: $123.17/session

  • The network is pursuing approval as a formal Continuing Education Activity by the Canadian Psychological Association.
